The HEAT SOFTBALL teams are made up of girls from various communities throughout the central Kansas area.  The HEAT program prides itself on teaching the girls to be competitive, while maintaining great sportsmanship. 

 

Mission Statement:

Heat Softball is committed to molding great young women and great athletes into champions, on the field, in the community, and in the classrooms. We know that when our athletes take care of business in the classroom, they can take care of business on the field. The discipline they learn from their softball experiences will extend into their daily lives and the success they achieve from their hard work, dedication, and perseverance through adversity will teach life lessons that will extend far beyond the diamond.

 

It is our hope that a large number of these young women will pursue college softball while preparing them with the education they need to sustain a self-dependent future.

 

HEAT SOFTBALL is a division of G2 Athletics.  G2 Athletics is a family owned company, specializing in sport specific training and college recruiting.  G2 Athletics is owned by Anthony Gonzalez and Victor Garcia and is located at 2915 N. Anderson, Newton, KS. 

 

HEAT SOFTBALL ACADEMY has an indoor facility where players are able to train year around. We have an indoor pitching area with distances setup for all ages. We have a couple of batting cages with a pitching machine and a number of hitting stations where players can work on the fundamentals of hitting. 

 

Our coaching staff is carefully selected to provide our athletes the best training possible. Many of our coaches are former college fastpitch players or college athletes. Both owners are College Coaches at 2 different NAIA Colleges in KS. We hold a number of clinics throughout the year and bring in our former players who are currently in college not only to train our players, but to talk to them about college life and playing at the next level. 

 

Our college recruiting program has put a number of our athletes into college in a number of sports besides softball. We have a proven program that works with college coaches to get our athletes in front of the coaches. We attend many recruiting clinics as a team throughout the year and we setup "HEAT DAYS" at select college where only our players attend a campus visit and workout with the team. 

 

HEAT SOFTBALL ACADEMY is a family! We practice and preach the WE OVER ME mentality to help our athletes not only succeed on the ball field, but in the classroom.
